Biology students modeled chemical reactions involving enzymes and factors! Their hands represented the enzyme, pennies represented the substrate, and the reaction was represented by moving as many pennies as possible one at a time from the floor to the table in 10 second intervals. Their hands were wrapped to demonstrate how a chemical reaction would slow down if an enzyme is denatured or a competitive inhibitor is present.

🍁✨ We’re excited to introduce a new tradition called Thankful Thursday! Every Thursday in November, students and staff will have the chance to give a special shout out to a teacher, student, or staff member who makes a difference. 💛 Fill out the form in your email and share who you’re grateful for — your message might even be featured in the morning announcements! Let’s spread some kindness and gratitude all month long! 🦃🌟

This week we have many options of shirts, hoodies and crewnecks, along with the new Pirate popsockets and pin back buttons . We will be selling our “Bags for Bucks” trash bag rolls with different gallon sizes available as well.
